It is softer than the graphite found in the Blackwing 602, but firmer than the graphite found in the Blackwing Matte. The pearl pencil is a favorite among calligraphy artists and illustrators. Each pencil features a pearlescent pink finish, iconic square Blackwing ferrule, silver imprint, and a replaceable bright blue eraser.
