Lab 02.22.22 is the fourth installment in our Labs series. With this Lab, we're experimenting with a vivid red core that's perfect for marking, editing, and sketching. Red core pencils are a favorite among animators, copyeditors, tattoo artists, teachers, and more. The design for this Lab features a red and natural two-tone barrel, gold ferrule, gold clip, white eraser, and white imprint. Each set includes 12 red core pencils. 

We made 3000 sets of Lab 02.22.22 and each box is individually numbered to mark its authenticity.

Blackwing Labs are small batch pencil releases that offer a fun look at our design process. The results may see us experimenting with new features, or putting new spins on old favorites. Each pencil will be foil stamped with the date of the release, and each box will be numbered by batch.
