1. Register to Vote / Check your Voter Registration Status
The upcoming election is on November 5th. Make sure you are registered to vote. If you’re not sure whether you’re registered, you can use this resource to check your status.
2. Request your Mail-In Ballot Today
In response to health and safety concerns, request your mail-in ballot as soon as possible. Voting with an absentee ballot is a great option with expected extended lines and wait-times at polling places come November.
3. Check your Early Voting Calendar and Vote Early
Voting early is available in a number of states. Use this database to see if early voting is offered in your state, how far in advance you’re able to vote and where to locate your local registrar’s office to vote early.
4. Make Sure Your Ballot Was Received and Your Vote Was Counted
Make sure you’ve complete all of the information on your ballot before you send it in. Place your ballot in the envelope provided and return it via mail, in-person at a polling place, or at a designated drop box. Follow up with your election office to double-check that they’ve received your ballot and your vote was counted.
